Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Ascend Glow app and the website at ascendglow.app. By using either, you agree to them.

You must be 18 or older

Ascend Glow is for adults only. By using it you confirm you are at least 18.

Not medical advice

Ascend Glow gives general self-improvement guidance about skin, grooming, fitness, posture, sleep and style. It is not medical, dermatological, nutritional or mental-health advice, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition. Talk to a qualified professional before starting a new diet, training program or skincare treatment, and stop any activity that causes pain or irritation. If you are struggling with how you feel about your appearance, please reach out to a doctor or counselor.

Your results

Scan results and plans are generated automatically and can be wrong. Results depend on photo quality, lighting and angle. Your progress depends on many things outside our control, and we do not promise any particular outcome.

Subscriptions and free trials

• What's free. The face scan, skin map, your top 3 levers and your starter product kit are free. The full plan (daily quests, scans, ranks, Blueprint and product picks) needs a subscription.
• Plans. Yearly, $39.99 a year, with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers; or Weekly, $4.99 a week, with no free trial. These are US prices. Prices can vary by country, and the exact price in your currency is shown before you confirm.
• The free trial needs a payment method. You add one through the App Store, Google Play or, on our website, our payment processor. You are not charged during the trial. One free trial per person.
• When the trial ends, you're charged the full yearly price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length until you cancel. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm a purchase, or when a free trial ends. Renewals are charged within the 24 hours before each period ends.
• Cancel any time. On iPhone: Settings > your name > Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play > Payments & subscriptions. Or in the app: You > Manage or cancel subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds. Purchases made through Apple or Google are refunded under their policies (for Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com); we can't refund store purchases ourselves. For anything bought on our website, email us within 14 days. Any refund rights the law gives you in your country still apply.
• Price changes. If we change a price, we'll tell you before it applies to you. Where the store requires it, the new price won't apply until you agree to it.

Founding Members

The first 500 people to join the waitlist before the App Store launch are Founding Members. They get access to the iPhone app before the public launch and a founder price that's lower than the regular price. We'll email the details, how long the founder price lasts and how to claim it, to the address you signed up with. The offer is personal and can't be transferred or exchanged for cash.

Using Ascend Glow responsibly

Only upload photos of yourself. Don't upload photos of other people, of anyone under 18, or anything illegal or sexually explicit. Don't try to break, copy or resell the service.

Your content

You own your photos and data. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our content

The app, plans, design and brand belong to Ascend Glow. You may use them for your own personal use.

Ending your use

You can stop using Ascend Glow at any time and delete all your data from the app's settings. Deleting your data or the app doesn't cancel a subscription; cancel it as described above. We may stop providing the service to anyone who breaks these terms.

Disclaimers and limits

Ascend Glow is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

If you got the app from Apple

These terms are between you and Ascend Glow, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, and is not responsible for the app, for any claims about it (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and consumer protection claims) or for any claim that it infringes someone else's rights. If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not in a country under a US government embargo and are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them against you. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material we will tell you in the app before they apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
